Admissions Policy:

• All families in our community will be made welcome. This includes mothers, fathers, other relations, friends and carers, and all families from ethnic, cultural, religious and social groups.

• Your child may start Bubbles at two and a half, providing he or she is emotionally ready, and after discussions have taken place with our supervisor. If our supervisor feels that a child is not ready at two and a half, she may suggest that he or she defer entry until they are three years old.

• While all our staff are sympathetic to the fact that not all children are toilet trained at two and a half and are happy to co-operate with parents in this area, the main responsibility for toilet training lies with the parents. Our general policy is that all children should be clean and dry upon their third birthday. In cases of special needs arrangements between parent/carer and supervisor will be discussed.

• All children are funded by the government the term after their third birthday. The core education funding is as follows: - 5 sessions of three hours per week, for 38 weeks per academic year. Bubbles pre-school also run an optional lunch club on Wednesdays and Thurdays this is additional to funded sessions and a fee will be charged for this club. Fees payable for children not yet in receipt of funding are currently £7.00 per session, and £4.00 for the optional lunch club.
